All On Four Treatment
All On Four Treatment
The all-on-four treatment concept is a technique in which a complete restoration of the jaw is performed, where 4-6 artificial implants are applied on the same day for patients without teeth or who will lose their teeth soon. It achieves patient satisfaction by taking into account the functional, aesthetic and taste characteristics while improving the ability to speak and self-confidence.
What is the all-on-four treatment?
The All-on-Four technique is a technique that has been used for 10 years, and has been scientifically proven to be successful. In this technique, two implants are placed in the back of the jaws at an angle of 30 - 35 degrees, while the other two are placed in the front. In some cases, when the bone dissolves in the molar region of the lower jaw, the lower jaw nerve (n.alveolaris inferior) passing there and the maxillary sinuses in the upper jaw prevent the placement of implants in these areas. Then advanced surgical techniques for implants are required, which means about one year of treatment time and a high cost to the patient.
But the All-on-Four technique gives the patient the opportunity to obtain stable prosthetics in front of these anatomical obstacles. In the All-on-Four technique, the implants are placed in the morning and temporary prostheses are placed in the evening. After 3-4 months, permanent prostheses are placed. During this period, patients do not live without teeth at all.
How is the treatment done?
In the All-on-Four treatment, measurements are taken from patients prior to treatment and temporary prostheses are prepared. If the patient has teeth that must be extracted, then they are extracted under the influence of local anesthesia and dental implants are implanted in their place. Then temporary prostheses that are prepared by taking measurements from the top of the implants are placed on these implants
